— Our story
Software shaped by real marine design work.
Born from Marine Design
Notilus Software began as an internal development effort within Notilus Software Design. Our team needed faster and more reliable ways to handle real marine design work in Rhinoceros — from structural modeling and piping layouts to production drawings and project coordination.
Those tools gradually became a software ecosystem. In 2021, Notilus Software was founded to develop them further and make them available to the wider marine industry.
Tools with a Practical Purpose
The Notilus Software ecosystem now includes eleven plugins: Steeler, Composite, Piping, P&ID, Drafting, Clipper, Scheduler, HydroStab, Weight, Mechs and AI Assistant.
Each one is built to solve a clear problem in the marine design process. No unnecessary complexity, no disconnected workflow — just focused tools developed around the way naval architects, engineers and shipyards actually work.
Made for the Industry We Work In
Notilus Software is shaped by real projects, real deadlines and real production requirements. That is why our plugins focus on practical efficiency: reducing repetitive tasks, improving model consistency, supporting documentation and keeping project information under control.
We build software for the marine design industry because we are part of it.
